Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – Dolly Parton recently canceled her Vegas residency due to medical issues and now her sister Frieda is asking for prayers as the country music star recovers.
Her sister said in a social media post that Dolly hasn’t been feeling her best lately and she believes in the power of prayer. “Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately. I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been lead to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me,” Freida Parton said in a post on social media.
She is asking everyone to pray for Dolly. At the time Dolly canceled her residency she joked, “it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!”
Frieda says she knows in her heart Dolly’s going to be just fine.
