Knoxville, TN (WOKI) A former West High School teacher and coach, accused of multiple cases of statutory rape, is now facing a new child sex charge.
Officials with the Knoxville Police Department say Chad Brooks was charged last week with sexual battery by an authority figure after detectives found another victim.
Brooks is accused of having inappropriate relationships with current and former students; he was indicted in May on his previous charges.
A Knox County grand jury indicted the former coach and teacher on the most recent charge September 24. According to court records, he was booked into the Knox County Jail on September 26.
