An investigation is underway following a fatal crash in Claiborne County.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says one driver, Merle T. Chamberlain, is dead and the other driver, Santana R. Onofre, were injured in yesterday (Sunday) mornings crash on US 25 E.
The crash report from THP says that Onofre was driving north and went into the Southbound lane which caused him to crash into Chamberlain’s vehicle.
Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
