Knoxville, TN (WOKI) A Knoxville woman convicted of vehicular homicide in a 2023 drag racing crash is sentenced to more than a decade behind bars.
Twenty-four-year-old Trinity Clark was sentenced Friday to 12 years in prison for the deadly crash that killed 65-year-old Michael Williams and seriously injured his two grandchildren.
Court records show that Clark and Tra’Shawn Glass were drag racing on Magnolia Avenue when they struck Williams’ car.
According to investigators with the Knoxville Police Department, data from Clark’s car showed she was traveling at 109 mph just before crashing. Police also said she was seriously injured.
Court records show Glass pleaded guilty in April 2024 to vehicular homicide and two counts of reckless aggravated assault. On July 26, 2024, a judge sentenced him to serve 12 years in prison.
