An investigation is underway following a serious crash in South Knox County.
One person was seriously injured in the crash in the 7900 block of Martin Mill Pike after being thrown from the car.
Officials with Rural Metro say the car crashed into a guard rail and down an embankment into a creek yesterday (Monday).
Crews used a low-angle rope hauling system to get the injured person out of the creek and to an ambulance.
