Knoxville, TN (WOKI) The Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration (TOSHA) is investigating a construction site death in Knoxville.
TOSHA officials confirming the incident happened Wednesday at a Whaley Construction site on Lovell Road.
Whaley Construction is based in Kodak. The company’s website says it specializes in grading, storm drainage, bridge construction and similar jobs.
Officials with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office say the major crimes unit responded to a call that a 24-year-old man had been pinned by an excavator against a rock bucket. KCSO says the man died at a nearby hospital.
