KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI) – The Knoxville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen earlier this week in East Knoxville.
According to police, Angelic Castillo-Hernandez was last seen at approximately 7 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, at a school bus stop near the intersection of Hancock Street and Quincy Avenue.
At the time she disappeared, Angelic was wearing:
- A red sweater
- Blue jeans
- Black tennis shoes
- An Apple Watch
Investigators believe Angelic may have run away and could be traveling with a man believed to be in his mid-20s.

In an updated alert, KPD said Angelic is believed to be in the company of an unidentified man who may be driving a vehicle that investigators have identified through photographs released to the public.
Police are actively working to identify the man and determine Angelic’s whereabouts.
Authorities are urging anyone who sees Angelic to call 9-1-1 immediately.
Anyone with information about Angelic, the unidentified man, or their possible location is encouraged to contact East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers anonymously at 877-363-8847 (877-36ETTIP).
Investigators say even seemingly minor information could be critical to locating Angelic safely.
The search remains ongoing.
