Fentress County, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – Two daycare workers are facing child neglect and abuse charges after a 2-year-old is left outside alone.
Jamestown police arrested Brittany Pendergrass and Ashley Manis for the incident at the Kids Korner Daycare in Jamestown.
A state report says the child was outside for more than 15 minutes without anyone noticing she left the building on March 4th..
The Department of Human Services says the daycare failed to report the incident to DCS in a timely matter.
Both suspects posted bond shortly after they were arrested.
