Sevierville, TN (Story courtesy of WVLT) – The Sevierville Police Department is investigating a crash that killed a 75-year-old man. The department announced the investigation Thursday.
The crash itself happened Tuesday around 6 p.m. on Dolly Parton Parkway. The department said a Nissan pick-up truck driven by 52-year-old Jason Little was trying to pull into Chubby’s when James Butler, driving a Can-Am Spyder three-wheel vehicle, hit the back of the truck.
“The driver of the three-wheel vehicle, 75-year old James Butler of Sevierville, TN, was transported to LeConte Medical Center by the Sevier County Ambulance Service, whereupon he was pronounced deceased,” SPD said.
Little was also hospitalized, but his injuries were minor, according to SPD.
