KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Story courtesy of WVLT) – The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said three people are facing multiple charges after a police chase early Friday morning led to the discovery of several pounds of drugs and thousands of dollars.
According to KCSO, its Narcotics Unit and Organized Retail Crime Unit conducted an operation targeting the Detroit-to-Knoxville pipeline.
During the operation, KCSO said detectives tried to stop a Dodge van, which sped away from a traffic stop. After a short chase, the following people, which were coming from Detroit, were arrested and charged:
- Kevin Foy, of Detroit, MI
- Possession with intent to distribute 300+ grams of methamphetamine
- Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Tampering with Evidence
- Evading arrest in a motor vehicle
- Maintaining a vehicle for drug use/sales
- James Costner, of Roseville, MI
- Possession with intent to distribute 300+ grams of methamphetamine
- Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Tampering with evidence
- Evading arrest
- Damaino Farris, of Roseville, MI
- Possession with intent to distribute 300+ grams of methamphetamine
- Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Tampering with evidence
- Evading arrest

In total, detectives found approximately six pounds of methamphetamine, five pounds of marijuana and over $5,000.
All three suspects are scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
