HANCOCK COUNTY, Tenn. (story courtesy of WVLT) — The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 48-year-old Joshua Wayne Metcalf, who escaped from the Hancock County Jail.
All schools within the Hancock School System have been placed on lockdown. Surrounding law enforcement agencies are assisting in the search.
