Knoxville – At its meeting today, the Knox County Election Commission approved, among other items, the early voting locations, hours of operation, and the ballot for the May 5, 2026 Knox County Primary Elections.
There are three (3) new early voting locations for Knox County voters to take advantage of during early voting.
EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS
Early voting begins Wednesday, April 15 at 10 a.m. at eleven (11) locations across Knox County.
LOCATIONS USED IN PRIOR ELECTIONS:
- DOWNTOWN City County Building, Small Assembly Room – 400 Main Street
- WEST KNOXVILLE Downtown West – 1645 Downtown West Blvd., Unit 40
- EAST KNOXVILLE Eternal Life Harvest Center at Five Points – 2410 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
- SOUTH KNOXVILLE Meridian Baptist Church – 6513 Chapman Highway
- NORTHEAST KNOXVILLE New Harvest Park – 4775 New Harvest Lane
- NORTHEAST KNOX COUNTY Gibbs Ruritan Club – 7827 Tazewell Pike, Corryton
- EAST KNOX COUNTY Carter Senior Center – 9040 Asheville Highway
- NORTHWEST KNOX COUNTY Karns Senior Center – 8042 Oak Ridge Highway

BALLOT
The 2026 Knox County Primary Election ballots will consist of between eleven (11) and thirteen (13) races, depending on a voter’s specific County Commission district of residence. Republican and Democratic Sample Ballots with all eighteen (18) races can be previewed on the home page of www.knoxvotes.org
Independent candidates that qualified to run for any of the offices on the May 2026 Knox County Primary Elections ballot will appear on the August 6, 2026 ballot in the Knox County General Election.
VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE
For individuals that are not registered, the deadline to register to vote is Monday, April 6, 2026. Individuals eligible to register can register by visiting https://ovr.govote.tn.gov/.
