Knoxville, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – Knoxville Police arrest a man who is charged with public indecency, simple assault, false imprisonment and two counts of stalking among other charges from two separate incidents that happened at Ijams Nature Center.
Randy Ramirez was arrested yesterday (Sunday) and was identified by one of the women who regularly visits Ijams Nature Center and says a man, now identified as Ramirez, followed her on the trail last month.
The woman says learning she was not the only woman followed changed how she thinks about familiar public spaces.
She is urging women to stay aware of their surroundings and carry a safety device.
