Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – The Tennessee Department of Transportation is sending some of their crews to Nashville to assist in clearing roads.
17 TDOT crew members from Knoxville headed to Nashville yesterday afternoon (Mon) and they will be in the mid-state area for the next few days.
TDOT says during Hurricane Helene in the Fall of 2024, TDOT crews from across the state came to East Tennessee to assist in cleanup efforts and officials say their crews are always willing and able to return the favor.
