KNOXVILLE (WOKI) – Motorists traveling on Cusick Road and Pellissippi Parkway (State Route 162) in Blount County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have a temporary impact on traffic.
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, the existing off-ramp from Pellissippi Parkway (State Route 162) southbound to Cusick Road will be shifted slightly in order to create working room on the right side of the ramp for new bridge work. This shift is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. that same day and will remain in place until all work is complete.
This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
