What: Multiple Agencies Respond to Bomb Threat
Where: Walmart, 1414 Parkway, Sevierville
When: Saturday, December 6, 2025
Just before 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025, the Sevierville Police Department received a call to dispatch stating that there were three bombs at Walmart, 1414 Parkway.
Out of caution, the building was evacuated and searched by multiple law enforcement personnel from several area agencies.
No suspicious devices were found, and the building was reopened at approximately 4:10 p.m.
SPD would like to thank the following agencies for their assistance in securing and searching the building by providing officers, K9s, bomb technicians, and other resources.
