Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – Knoxville Police officers conducting high-visibility traffic enforcement throughout the Thanksgiving holiday in an effort to keep the roads as safe as possible.
Unfortunately, there was 1 traffic fatality within city limits during the long holiday weekend.
Officers also made 10 DUI arrests, issued 67 speeding citations, investigated 40 crashes, five with injuries.
The Thanksgiving traffic enforcement period ran from 4 p.m. last Wednesday through Sunday.
