Maryville, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – A man is facing an attempted murder charge after an assault that happened in Maryville.
Maryville Police say it happened on November 20th in the 1600 block of East Lamar Alexander Parkway.
Officers found William Flynn injured, he told officers he had fallen but a family member said something else.
That person told police that Flynn had been assaulted and had an active brain bleed and that Flynn’s Honda Pilot had been stolen.
Since the assault, 49-year-old John Pollock has been charged in the case with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence and stealing a car worth more than $1,000.
