The investigation remains on-going and KCSO says the passenger in the vehicle that crashed into water has died.
Two people were hospitalized after a car crashed into water in Knox County last (Thursday) night.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office responded to that single-vehicle crash which involved a car going into water in the 8000 block of Badgett Road.
The driver was able to get out but the passenger had to be rescued from the submerged car.
The passenger died after being taken to the hospital and the drive has been released from the hospital.
