Knox County, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – An investigation is underway after two people are injured after car crashes into water.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says it happened last night (Thursday). They say the car went into the water in the 8000 block of Badgett Road.
Two people were in the car at the time of the accident. The driver was able to get out but the passenger had to be rescued from the submerged car.
Both were taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
