Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – A woman was fatally injured in a single-vehicle crash that happened Sunday evening on N. Broadway.
At around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025, KPD officers were dispatched to the crash, which occurred on N. Broadway between Haynes Pl and Caswell Avenue.
The involved vehicle, a Ford Fusion, had drifted off the road, struck a utility pole and overturned. The driver, an adult woman, sustained critical injuries in the crash and was transported to the UT Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld at this time. The ongoing investigation is being led by KPD crash reconstruction personnel.
