HAMBLEN COUNTY (WOKI) – The Tennessee Department of Transportation wants motorists traveling on State Route 344 (Old Russellville Pike) in Hamblen County to be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have an impact on traffic.
Beginning on Monday, November 17, State Route 344 (Old Russellville Pike) will be closed to through traffic at Luthor Proffitt Road as part of the State Route 34 (US 11E) widening project. Signage will be in place to direct motorists between State Route 344 (Old Russellville Pike) and State Route 34 (US 11E) via Depot Street.
This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
