KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Story courtesy of WVLT) – The City of Knoxville has released the schedule for its annual Christmas In The City events.
“The City of Knoxville is continuing its tradition of six weeks of family-friendly, free fun,” the city said.
The event series includes Scruffy City staples like the annual WIVK Christmas Parade, Market Square’s iconic ice skating rink and more.
The event schedule for Christmas In The City is:
- Nov. 21, 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. – Christmas at Chilhowee
- Nov. 28, 5:15 to 9:00 P.M. – Regal Celebration of Lights in Market Square
- Nov. 28 through Jan. 4. – Holiday’s On Ice in Market Square
- Dec. 5 at 7:00 P.M. – WIVK Christmas Parade from Gay Street to Jackson Avenue
- Dec. 13, 3:30 to 7:30 P.M. – Tour de Lights bike ride and holiday market in Mary Costa Plaza
- Dec. 31, 9:00 P.M. to midnight – New Year’s Eve at the Sunsphere
