Cumberland Co, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman is found dead during a welfare check in Crossville.
Deputies responded to 7119 Big Horn Drive Monday night and found 76-year-old Linda Spivey dead.
CCSO, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the District Attorney’s Office investigated the death. According to the sheriff’s office, 59-year-old Kenneth Spivey murdered the woman, he was taken into custody. Their relation has not been confirmed.
He has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
