Knox County, TN (WOKI) – The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help getting a dog back to its owner.
KCSO says the owner let her French Bulldog named Papí out to use the bathroom when he ran to the neighbor’s house.
The owner went back inside to get her shoes and when she returned, the dog was gone.
In a video shared on Facebook, a woman pulled up, called him to her car and drove off with him.
The dog was taken from the Three Point Landing subdivision by a woman in a black vehicle, believed to be a Kia Optima.
Police hope the woman possibly took him because she believed he was lost and that she will return the dog to its owner.
Papí is microchipped.
