Tennessee Highway Patrol is Investigating Fatal Claiborne County Crash

Claiborne County, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash which killed a Kentucky in Claiborne County.

THP responded to the crash Thursday on Fork Ridge Road in Good Lane and say 48-year-old James Phillips was driving south on Highway 132 when his car went off the road and hit a utility pole and came to a rest off an embankment on its side.

Phillips, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, died due to injuries sustained in the crash.
