UPDATE (10/26/25) (WOKI / WVLT) – The Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after finding two people dead in a home in East Hamblen County.
Officials were called to N. Morelock Road Thursday night and found 69 year-old Dennis Chandley and 66 year-old Diana Chandley dead on the floor of gunshot wounds.
Early investigation shows that Dennis Chandley shot his wife, Diana, multiple times before shooting himself. Officials say the two were in the process of being divorced.
Original Story: Hamblen County, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – An investigation is underway after two people are found dead in an East Hamblen County home.
The Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the home and found a man and woman shot and unresponsive. A gun was nearby on the floor nearby.
Deputies secured the scene and detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division were called to conduct the investigation.
