KNOXVILLE – Motorists traveling on I-40 in Loudon County should be aware of upcoming bridge repair activities that will have an impact on traffic.
Beginning at 11:59 p.m. tonight, October 24, the inside lane on I-40 East and West will be closed at MM 363 in Loudon County to allow for resurfacing to the bridge that spans over Paw Paw Plains Road, approximately one mile from Exit 364 (Lenoir City/US 321). These lane closures will be in place until approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 25.
This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
