UPDATE: Knoxville, TN – A “verbal threat” prompted an evacuation and law enforcement response at Cedar Bluff Elementary School.
That’s according to Carly Harrington, a spokesperson for Knox County Schools who says the building has been cleared.
It happened this (Wednesday) morning and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office responding to the scene.
Kimberly Glenn, a spokesperson KCSO, says juvenile detectives and patrol were at the school.

Kimberly Glenn, a spokesperson KCSO, says juvenile detectives and patrol are at the school. Homeland Security often also responds in threat situations.
Harrington says the evacuation came as a precaution and as of 8:45 a.m., she said students were still evacuated.
