Oak Ridge, TN (WOKI) Police in Oak Ridge are asking for information following an assault Friday afternoon that sends the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say 34-year-old Jacob Yugo has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault and tampering with evidence in connection to the assault around 4:00 p.m. Friday in the area of East Newkirk Lane, adding that the victim remains in critical condition at an area hospital.
Yugo was taken into custody and is being held in the Anderson County Detention Facility.
