Knoxville, TN (WOKI) UPDATE: Knoxville Police Department officials reporting just before 2:00 p.m. Thursday that Elina has been found safe on Hall of Fame Drive near I-40.
ORIGINAL STORY: Knoxville police are asking for help in their search for a missing girl.
Officials say 12-year-old Elina Heck walked away from South Doyle Middle School just after 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning, October 2, 2025.
Heck is described as roughly 5’2 tall and 120lbs with brown hair. She was wearing a pink t-shirt with Snoopy on the front, gray pants and turquoise shoes.
If you see Elina, police ask that you call 9-1-1.
