Knoxville Police asking for help to solve a cold case involving the murder a teen father.
The case goes back to 1995, 19 year-old James Shawn Arp, who had a pregnant wife, closed down the Little Caesars in the Northgate Plaza and met his long-time friend, Johnny Ray Cunningham.
They decided to try to buy marijuana and drove to the area of College Street and University Avenue and met a street dealer.
The only witness, Cunningham, said the drug dealer shot Arp at the intersection of Callaway and 5th Avenue.
Since then Cunningham has disappeared.
