Clinton, TN (WOKI) A Clinton woman pleads guilty to vehicular homicide by recklessness from a car crash resulting in a man losing his life.
Alexys Barton pled guilty to the crash which happened in the early morning hours of July 27, 2023.
Forty-four year old Christopher Phillips was on his way to work when he was suddenly struck by a car, driven by Barton, crossing the centerline and hitting his motorcycle head-on.
Officials say reckless operation of an automobile by Barton was determined to be the cause of Phillips’ death.
Phillips leaves behind a wife and six children.
