Knox County, TN (WOKI) – A third candidate for Knox County Mayor has entered the race.
Acting Knox County Commissioner and Vice Chair Kim Frazier has a long history of community involvement, serving on local groups and boards like the Knox Community Planning Alliance, Knoxville Knox County Planning Commission Zoning Review Board and the Knox County Government Ethics Committee, among others.
According to Knox County Administrator of Elections Chris Davis, Frazier has filed an appointment of political treasurer to run in the Republican primary in 2026. Kevin Murphy, a member of the Knox Community Planning Alliance himself, will act as campaign manager.
She’s joined in the race by Commissioner Larsen Jay and Knox County School Board Chair Betsy Henderson.
