Campbell County Healthcare Manufacturing Plant Set to Close, Affecting More than 150 Workers

Campbell County, TN (WOKI) A manufacturing plant in Campbell County will be closing its doors by the end of the year, laying off 153 people.

According to a WARN Notice filed with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development on Tuesday, DeRoyal Industries, Inc. is planning to permanently close its facility in LaFollette effective December 31.

DeRoyal Industries is a manufacturer and marketer of healthcare products and opened the facility in LaFollette in 2004 to manufacture custom procedure trays.

The company will reduce all significant operations of CPTs in LaFollette by September 30, and any remaining operations will cease by the end of the year.
