Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is threatening an “out-and-out brawl” with Vice President Kamala Harris’ Silicon Valley billionaire supporters over their push to remove Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan from her job.
Khan’s being targeted by the tech moguls because of her call to curb the tech industry’s power, including launching investigations into Meta, Microsoft, and Amazon and taking aim at pharmaceutical drug makers, grocery chains, and data brokers, The Telegraph reported.
Ocasio-Cortez accused the Silicon Valley billionaires Wednesday of “trying to play footsie with the ticket.”
