The missing University of Tennessee Student has been found dead in a remote area of Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

Bryce Evans, 24, was reported missing on Monday to the Knoxville Police Department. According to officials, nobody has heard from Evans since July 31.

Evans reportedly told his sister that he was going to work out at the T-Rec at UT and he may drive to Charlotte afterward. His card had not been used at the gym and he never showed up for his internship at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Officials found his car Thursday night in the Balsam Mountain area.

His phone went straight to voicemail and it was last pinged near Cherokee North Carolina.
