McMinn County Investigators Arrest a Man on Aggravated Arson Charges

Investigators in McMinn County make an arson arrest.

Fire investigators with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, along with the Etowah Police and Fire departments result in the indictment of 36 year-old Aaron Harris of Athens, he is charged with aggravated arson.

Investigators say the arrest stems from a structure fire at an apartment complex on 5th Street in Etowah in late December. Harris was served with these charges while in the McMinn County Jail on an unrelated charge. His bond was set at $200,000.
