Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs has sent a letter to the Knox County law director asking to appeal a judge’s ruling that resulted in Knox County Schools having to implement a mask mandate.

Jacobs says in the letter that he is representing the constituents who have reached out to him asking him to challenge the order. In the letter he says to the law director “I strongly encourage you to consider appealing the preliminary injunction as a whole, or in part, as quickly as possible.”
