Knoxville Police Investigating Incident that Led to a Man Being Hospitalized in Critical, Life-Threatening Condition

A Knoxville veteran is fighting for his life while his family is fighting for justice.

74-year-old Hobert Jennings walked into his family’s apartment Saturday morning with the injuries and was taken to the UT Medical Center, where he is in critical condition on life support. His family will have to make the decision whether or not to remove that support.  Jennings likes to sit on the porch of his Vista Apartments home and visit with neighbors. Jennings daughter, Alice Grant says they are devastated and want to know what happened to her Dad.  Knoxville Police are investigating this incident as aggravated assault. If anyone has any information about the incident contact the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
