JCSO Find Man’s Body in Shed While Investigating a Missing Person Report, Wife Arrested

An investigation into a missing person by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office leads to a first-degree murder charge for a Dandridge woman.

47 year-old Julie Ann Pope-Bybee arrested and taken into custody at her home at 1707 Breezie Point Lane after the body of her husband, 50 year-old Rusty LeRoy Bybee was found in a shed on the property yesterday (Tuesday).

Pope-Bybee is currently being held in the Jefferson County Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
