The CDC released a new study analyzing Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy in individual states.
The data suggests 54% of Tennesseans were willing to get the vaccine.
The study showed that over 33% of Tennesseans have received at least one dose of a vaccine. Locally, 25% of Knoxville residents label themselves as “hesitant” to get the vaccine while 14% call themselves “strongly hesitant.”
The results of the study remain consistent with the majority of the country according to Tennessee Department of Health Commissioner, Dr. Lisa Piercey.
