One person injured in a Wears Valley wildfire in Sevier County.
Sevier County Fire Crews responding to the wildfire reported at Bud’s Ridge Way in the Wears Valley community around 2:30 p.m. yesterday (Tuesday). Crews remained on the scene overnight. The impacted area is approximately 20 acres.
As of this (Wednesday) morning, the wildfire is 85 percent contained and no structures are currently threatened. Residents were able to return to their homes around 8:30 p.m. last night (Tuesday).
