UT Football Player Cited for Animal Cruelty

UT Football Vols’ Linebacker Aaron Beasley is cited for animal cruelty.

WVLT reporting, Knoxville Police Department say Beasley has been issued an animal cruelty citation, a class A misdemeanor by Animal Control personnel.

Beasley has been suspended from all team activities by the University of Tennessee amid this animal abuse allegation. Knoxville Police say Beasley is accused of causing traumatic brain injury from blunt force trauma to the head, internal bleeding and kidney bruising to a kitten.
