Knox County Board of Health Votes for Some Changes to Current Restrictions Due to the Pandemic

The Knox County Board of Health votes unanimously to extend the alcohol curfew until April 22, at 11:59 p.m.

Catering companies and event planning companies were included in the curfew regulation and it was pushed it back to 1 a.m. starting tomorrow (Friday).

The social gathering limit will also expire tonight at 11:59 p.m. In an effort to make it easier for event planning companies to conduct business, the board voted not to extend it.  the county’s mask mandate is also still in effect. It does not have an expiration date and it will be up to the board to decide when to lift it.  The board will meet again on April 21.
