The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of Aaron Massengill as a homicide.

Massengill went missing February 16 and his body was found late Monday afternoon along Ferguson Ridge Road in Tazewell. An autopsy was ordered.

The TBI investigation is ongoing. The agency is not saying how Massengill was killed.

TBI tweeted out photos of a woman they say could have information “that could be helpful” in a Claiborne County investigation but did not connect it to this case.
