Tennessee Governor Bill Lee responded to a tweet from Vice President Kamala Harris about abortion last week.
Harris tweeted, “On the 48th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we recommit ourselves to ensuring that everyone has access to care – including reproductive health care – no matter their income, race, zip code, health insurance status, or immigration status.”
Thirty minutes after the tweet, Governor Bill Lee responded with a three word response saying “abortion isn’t healthcare.”

Lee then responded to his own tweet encouraging his followers to donate to Hope Clinic, a Tennessee-based pregnancy-support organization.
