The United States has a new President, Joe Biden was sworn into office just before noon today as the 46th President of our Country.

Kamala Harris was sworn in prior to Biden as the 49th Vice President and the first female to hold that office in U.S. history.

Vice President Mike Pence and his wife attended the ceremony along with former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George Bush along with their spouses. Former President Jimmy Carter sent his regrets but due to the pandemic, the Carters did not travel from their Georgia home.

Former President Donald Trump arrived at his new home in Florida around 11 a.m. today ahead of the inauguration. It is reported that Trump did leave a note for President Biden but it’s contents have not been revealed.
