Two Knox County Elementary Schools Move Online

Knox County Schools announced that Mooreland Heights Elementary and Sterchi Elementary will move to online learning beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 12.

“This is expected to last for a total of four school days, and these students will return to school for in-person instruction on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, unless otherwise notified,” said KCS. “This decision is based on the metric of “Teacher / School Staff Attendance” for both schools, and the metric of “Student Attendance” for Mooreland Heights. Online learning is being implemented in order to ensure that students continue to receive high-quality instruction.”
