With Knox County seeing Red Benchmarks and cases increasing,
Charity Menefee, with the Knox County Health Department, is asked why Knox County Schools haven’t moved to on-line only learning.
Menefee says, “Their metrics are also and while they look at our benchmarks and they also look at their internal metrics on their ability to continue to provide instruction and it’s ultimately the school’s decision and we talk to them frequently and they are making those decisions on a case by case basis and will make a larger decision on on their end as well from their leadership with our input but on there’s a lot of different factors and they have their own set of internal metrics they look at as well that weighs in on that.”
